Baby Socks knitting Pattern.
You will need: 2 skeins of French Angora,
1 set of D.P.N's 4.00mm,
1 stitch marker,
1 wool needle to close toe.
Cast on 24sts- 8 sts onto each needle, join to work in the rnd, k1, place stich marker and continue to knit around for a total of 3 rnds.
Next: k2,p2 for 4 rnds slipping marker as you go.
Next: Knit all sts for 6 rnds.
Make heel flap: k across the 1 st needle, on needle 2 (heel needle),
Row 1: k1, sl 1, turn work,
Row 2: p all sts, rep these 2 rows 4 times.
Next:with work facing you, on needle 1, pick up 4 sts-loops so you now have 12 sts on needle 1. Repeat for needle 3.
Continue to knit around for 2 rnds.
Next: make Dec rnds.
Rnd 1: k to last 3 sts of needle 1, k2tog, k1. k across needle 2- no shaping. Needle 3: k1, k2tog, k to end.
Rnd 2: knit all sts. rep these 2 rnds until you have 8 sts on needles 1 & 3. Cont to k for another 10 rnds then shape toe.
K2tog at the beg and end of all 3 needles, knit 3 rnds.
Next break yarn leaving a 10cm tail, with wool needle gather all sts and sew toe closed.
Make another sock.
